How to install Plugins to Studio One
First thing first, the following is the view of how it would be. For example, you want to add Voxengo Vst Plugins in to your Studio One. Apparently, all installed 3rd party vsts will be shown in the right panel. Of course, ahead of your installation of the plugins you will not see it there.
To begin with How to add vst to studio one, lets open Studio One tab on the top bar and go to Options so that you can see the window where the location of the vst plugins would be.
You will then see this:
Activate the tab Locations, and activate the sub tab VST Plug-Ins. You see there in the picture above, the tab Locations and sub Tab VST Plug-Ins are activated and therefore highlighted. You can see the box there are two locations that Studio One should load up to the right panel. The Add button and the Remove button is to add and remove the folder locations of the vst instruments. Because we want to add another vsts and we may need to set new locations. Click add to add folder.
You need to browse in the windows explorer to locate the locations of the vsts you will install to Studio One.
Make new folder for the vsts, in this sample we use Voxengo.
In the Voxengo folder, paste the .dll file of the vsts. Normally, all vst plugins in Windows platform have .dll file. The .dll file of the 3rd Party instruments plugins not loaded in the destination folder of Studio One, therefore, you need to copy and paste the .dll file in to the folder. Once you put the dll file in the destination folder. Close and open Studio One again. Normally, the vsts will be there and ready to use.
