Begin making music online!

Now that we have been introduced to the basic tools in the free online music maker audiosauna, we are ready to make a simple music.

In this project, I use 4 instruments, the Drums, piano, and bells, and additional sound.

first, we need to create drum pattern loop. To start writing the drum pattern or drum loop, activate the pencil tool and bring the cursor to the beginning of the loop bar and hold and drag until you make one like in the picture below. Actually, you can make longer loop as you wish. But for now, let’s stick with my instruction. You can experiment with it later.

activate the pencil writer to create loop space

Double click to further edit the notes. You should see a panel that looks like a keyboard. That’s called midi writer, or in fl Studio it is called piano roll. Then you should be in the midi editor mode. Again, activate the pencil tool. Start clicking on the bar to write your notation. Click on the keyboard to check how the sound is.

Making the drum loop pattern

I assume that you have made a space to make loop pattern. To make drum pattern, go to Sampler one, and create a space for drum pattern. See the picture above to get clearer idea. After that, write a drum pattern. In this example, I only use kick drum and snare. Here is the look:

Making the Melodic pattern (bass-like sound)

After making the drum pattern, make the bass pattern. Go to Synth 1 and create like this one below. Again, you can experiment by choosing another instrument, just browse them in the presets menu. It is all on your preference.

Duplicating Loops

You need to make only unique drum loop pattern or other instrument pattern once and you can duplicate them so long as it is required to use the same loop. To duplicate the loop, simply activate the loop pattern, press on keyboard Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and then paste. The loop will automatically be pasted in the next bar. You can duplicate again and again to add more duplicates.

You can move the position of the loops by first activating the select tool (left top corner next to the pencil tool). Click hold and drag to the destination bar.

Saving and Exporting project into audiofile (wav)

After making several patterns, duplicating, editing, and positioning, you can save the project for further edit or just export the loop or song to be audiofile to your computer.
